[NEWS] TVXQ Has Been Monitored in Private” ; Japanese Media
Japanese media revealed that while filming the latest PV in December, members of TVXQ were being forced not to communicate with each other.
SM Entertainment however responded that this is no evidence that they (SME) are monitoring the members in private.
On December 22, 2009, a Japanese weekly women magazine (Women’s Self) stated that during the activities in Japan, the communication between TVXQ’s has been forbidden and monitored since 3 of the members has filed a lawsuit against SME.
The magazine also wrote that during the activities in Japan, the members were unable to perform well as one. Though all of the members stayed in one room, there was a screen separating them into 3 – 2. Thus, this act seems to forbid interaction between members and to observe their actions. The same situation occurred while they were filming for the PV of their upcoming Japanese single, Break Out. Though the MV was filmed in Japan, there were staffs following them to disallow communication between members.
With regards to this, SME’s representative replied via phone, “The article by Women’s Self is purely rumour. It is creepy to have this thought that the members are being watched closely. Furthermore, we are in the generation where communication devices are everywhere. This could happen in the 1990s but in today’s situation; monitoring them (TVXQ) is implausible and impossible. “

Cassiopeia Got Angry Towards Tonight Korea SBS ‘News Track’
“They are not Hallyu stars!”
The term ‘Hallyu stars’ refers to celebrities who are already popular in Korea, yet they go to other countries (including Japan) and hold a short-term event in the destination country to get more income and fans.
And they (TVXQ) are not Hallyu stars!
They are local stars! (T/N: from word ‘localization’)
What does mean by local star is… the artists must go along with Japanese method/system, make debut as rookies in J-POP and do entertainment activities according to system that is ruled for rookie in the local industry. Regardless the treatment they have for their star status in their home country, these artists have to work hard and make all great efforts as rookie.
The term ‘Hallyu stars’ have also been recognized in Japanese entertainment industry, therefore for a program from such big TV channel, the program officials should have been more careful and look for more understanding on the differences between localization and Hallyu.
These protests and opinions from Cassiopeia were revealed through a preliminary survey before the broadcast, however since the broadcast time is approaching thus the program officials couldn’t modify the program’s content in sudden, SBS offered to write apology sentences for having mistaken in describing TVXQ as Hallyu stars on their homepage and will also display news ticker about the protest directly during the broadcasts.

[NEWS] SHINee’s Ring Ding Dong Up #1 on Thai Music Chart for The 3rd Week
Group SHINee’s 3rd minialbum title song ‘Ring Ding Dong’ is up #1 on Thai music chart for the 3rd consecutive week.
The song is up #1 on Channel V Countdown Asian Chart from the first week of December till the 3rd week, proving to be popular in Thailand. The chart is one of the most popular local weekly charts, collating scores from viewers’ requests.
Other than that, SHINee is also up #1 for 3 weeks on Thailand’s major music chain Gramophone’s weekly album chart Gram Asian Pop Top 10. The song is doing well in album and music charts in Thailand after how it has done well on charts in Korea.
The group is currently promoting the followup hit song ‘Jo Jo’ off their 3rd minialbum.

Well, I and my friends attended an EXPO on Sunday, and it has just finished today! We got so many experiences, a lot of fun, and… we ate too much! :p I’m happy that I was a part of this expo, I learned many things from this. We shown our school’s collection. Err, you can call it as… masterpiece? Hahaha~ There were many paintings, decorative eggs, films made by Saint Peter’s students, etc. We are proud of our school! >,<

f(x) and SHINee attended the opening ceremony of SM’s “Everysing” last time. But, Key to be charged in vandalism. *what?*
Look at this photo! Other members were so excited to sign the frame, but Key? Oh, he enjoyed to sign the table instead of the frame border for his hand print wall art. As the result, f(x) and the rest of SHINee members laughed!

[NEWS] TVXQ Releases 1st Best Album in February
Tohoshinki releases their first best album on February 17th next year. Album will be in 3 versions: 2 CDs & DVD, 1CD & DVD and just CD.
This best album includes 16 songs from “Purple Line” which they became 1st in olicon weekly chart for the first time to “Doushite Kimi wo Suki ni Natte Simattann daro” which was chosen as best song prize at The 50th Japan Record Awards.
With the 2 CD version, additional CD with 8songs contains “Amaku Hateshinaku” which was delivered as digital single in September and was played in the commercial messege of candy tablet called “Pinky” which Tohoshinki appered. And The DVD includes 70 minutes of live in 2006-2009. With the booklet having treasured photos.
